SONA is a magazine focused on experimentation in music and sound. We create space for projects that might not fit elsewhere, highlighting artists who challenge conventions and explore new ways of listening and creating.

Based in Brazil, we follow contemporary sonic practices closely. We publish interviews, essays, reviews, and exclusive content, giving visibility to work that combines technique, improvisation, and perception, connecting body, space, and technology in creative processes.

SONA is also a space for reflection. Through critical texts and exclusive releases, we encourage active listening, where music and sound art are experienced, felt, and understood as a way to transform how we relate to the world.
